Nexus, the Alfaisal University College of Medicine study platform.
Who this is for
Nexus is an internal study platform for students and committees of the Alfaisal University College of Medicine. Accounts are restricted to Alfaisal email addresses.
What we store
Your account details (name, Alfaisal email, batch), your study activity within the app (checklist progress, practice results), and content that committees upload for the batch (schedules, lecture materials, and recordings). We do not sell data or share it with advertisers.
Lecture recordings and YouTube
When the coordination committee uploads a lecture recording through Nexus, the video is uploaded to the batch's own YouTube channel using YouTube's official API, on the committee's authorization. Nexus stores a reference to the resulting video so it can be shown alongside the lecture. Nexus requests only the access needed to upload the video and organize it into the channel's playlists; it does not read or modify unrelated videos on the channel. The committee can revoke Nexus's access to the channel at any time from their Google account settings.
Your account
You can update your profile in the app and request account deletion, which removes your personal account data. Content a committee published for the batch is retained for the batch.
